Ferretti Battery

This battery is known also as Qajjenza Battery and it is found near St. Lucianís Tower. Its cost of over 900 scudi was paid by the Knight Francesco Maria Ferretti.  It was designed on a semi-circular design with embrasures for cannons. On the rear there were two blockhouses and a redan.  Although it is a fair state of preservation it has a number of alterations.
